Ever since 911 I have been a huge fan of CNN. I put it on at least once a day. I must say I have really grown attached to many of the personalities on the network. Their are even some anchors that are totally hot, such as Poppy Harlow and Erica Hill. Out of the entire CNN family the only person who I genuinely can not stand is Rick Sanchez. I like to call him Dirty Sanchez because its easy and the Dirty Sanchez as a sexual act is increadibly funny to me. According to wikipedia a Dirty Sanchez is the act of smearing fecal matter or felch on the upper lip of a partner during (or following) various types of anal sex, for those of you who didn’t know.

I first grew to despise him when he was demonstrating how fall off a cruise ship, kind of and then get rescued by the coast guard, kind of.  I knew Dirty Sanchez’s demo was retarded BUT I wasn’t the only one. Jon Stewart and the Daily Show picked up on how lame he was later that night.

Here is the link to the Daily Show bit about it.

Since then Dirty has gotten his own show some how. He as been feuding with Rush Limbaugh as if anyone gives a shit. And he loves to be on social networking sites. He’s always tweeting and myspacing and facebooking while he is on the air. I don’t know who wants to watch a 51-year-old man use a social networking  site. I’d much rather picture him on the recieving end of a Dirty Sanchez. Better still I’d rather picture Poppy Harlow and Erica Hill dyking out.

What a day for True Crime Fans!

This comes to us from the NY Times.

BERLIN — An Austrian court sentenced Josef Fritzl to life in prison for allowing one of the children he fathered with his imprisoned daughter to die without medical attention. The guilty verdict and sentence, which he will serve in a secure psychiatric facility, brought to a close a sensational tale of incest in a homemade basement dungeon that horrified but riveted the world.

Mr. Fritzl 73, was found guilty on all counts, including rape, incest, imprisonment and enslavement. But it was the charge of negligent homicide that carried the highest sentence. Prosecutors demanded the maximum sentence before the eight-member jury retired to deliberate. The verdict was unanimous.

Televised images from the courthouse in St. Pölten, Austria showed Mr. Fritzl displaying no emotion as he was led out of the courtroom by a phalanx of guards. Mr. Fritzl’s lawyer, Rudolf Mayer, said his client would not appeal the ruling and told reporters outside the courthouse that it was “the logical consequence of his guilty plea.”

Two days after refusing to take responsibility for his newborn son’s death, Mr. Fritzl abruptly reversed himself on Wednesday and pleaded guilty to all counts against him, including negligent homicide and enslavement.

The crime began a quarter-century ago when Mr. Fritzl locked his daughter in the basement of the apartment house where the family lived. Over the course of the 24 years in which he held her in captivity in the windowless cellar, Mr. Fritzl repeatedly raped his daughter, who gave birth to seven children.

A twin boy who died shortly after he was born became a focal point of the legal proceedings. The murder charge carried the highest sentence. Under Austrian law sentences are served concurrently and not consecutively. Due to his age, it is unlikely that Mr. Fritzl will ever be freed, but it remains at least a possibility.

“He could theoretically be released after 15 years at the earliest, and then of course three judges would have to decide again about his release,” said Franz Cutka, a court spokesman, speaking through an interpreter at a news conference.

And then there was this! Just hours before the sentencing of Granpa/Daddy Fitzel a new picture of Charlie Manson came out! What a fun day! This also comes from the NY Times and the Associated Press.

Corcoran/California State Prison, via Associated Press A photograph of Charles Manson, taken Wednesday March 18, 2009, at the California State Prison in Corcoran. The photo of the 74-year-old Manson was taken as part of a routine update of files on inmates at the Corcoran prison, where he is serving a life sentence for conspiring to murder seven people.

I feel he looks kind of tan in this photo. Maybe he has been lying out in the yard.
